This is really true -- we showed this to some of our Kiwi friends at dinner last night, and they all died laughing, saying, "Oh, we don't really sound like that!" Yes...you do. You ALL do.
We've tried to master the accent, but our American mouths just can't form the words -- besides all of the above, Kiwis manage to say "No" as if it is a multi-syllable word ending in R, like "Nah-ooohhh--rrr," and "You" is also many syllables, sort of "Yuh-ooo." Also, when you go to the movies, you're going to the "cinemer."
