Pura Vida (Wikipedia Definition, paraphrased)...Pura Vida, literally translated means "Pure Life" but means contextually something approximate to "Full of Life", "Purified life", "This is living!" It can be used as a greeting, as a word of farewell, to express satisfaction...Costa Ricans use the phrase to express something akin to a philosophy of...enjoying life slowly and celebrating good fortune of magnitudes small and large alike.

You're Not in Wanganui Anymore...
We've arrived safely in Sydney, our last big hurrah before we head back to Wangas for a few weeks and then back to Denver for good (Patrick's actually heading back before me to start work!). I saved some vacation days for 1 more big trip, and when else will we be a 3-hour flight from Australia? Sydney is gorgeous. No pictures uploaded, not likely 'til we get back...Sydney is more like the US than New Zealand, but still very unique. Cool architecture, a lot of history, green spaces, beaches, great food/wine/beer/coffee (the essentials), and breathtaking views pretty much everywhere you turn. Fantastic public transportation (4 days, no car necessary). (No, we're not moving to Sydney...yet! Just kidding, Maura, Donna, Lyle and Papa!)
