A couple of weekends ago, we had a VERY special visitor to Colorado -- GRAMMY!
Mim and Grammy left Friday night and drove as far as Stratton, then got up on Saturday and came the rest of the way to Denver. It must have been a very long trip for our Grammy, but Ben was very excited to meet his Great-Grandma!
We took the opportunity to head out for a date night on Saturday -- I even fixed my hair!!
Here are the McFarland Girls with Ben -- Four generations! Must be a little bright in front of that lilac bush, because B's eyes are closed!
On Sunday night we BBQ'ed and ate on the back patio -- you can see Ben is all snuggly in his "camp chair." You can also see Grammy is wearing my apron -- of course we made her slave in the kitchen all weekend! ;) (Kidding -- if you know Grammy, you know it's hard to get her to STOP helping out!)
Here is Ben with two doting grandmas. What a lucky boy!
All four generations' hands.
(We definitely have to get one like this with the generations in Inman and Hutch!!)

This is Ben sporting his new bib that Mim made for him -- if you look closely there are 2 yellow puppies and 1 black puppy: Roxie, Dosie and Duke, of course! The Thiessen doggies were well-represented!
THANK YOU FOR COMING, GRAMMY!
Thank you for bringing her, Mim!
We love you!
