The Cabin!

Last month we went on MANY big adventures.  The first one was to the cabin --

 Molly has been going to the cabin since she was tiny, and she was SO excited to introduce Ben to the lovely place!  Here is Ben on the way to the cabin.  As you can see, he is thrilled to pieces.

 We had a nice sunset on the way down.

 Once we were there, Ben got right to work with Tummy Time, using Opa's old sleeping bag as his home base.

 As always, Duke was more than happy to help with Tummy Time.

 Ben also enjoyed helping us in the kitchen.

 Turns out, it's cold in the mountains in May.  In the middle of the night the first night, Molly got up to feed Ben and he was VERY chilly.  So he ended up in a onesie, a sleep-n-play, a swaddle sack, and a hat.  And then in our bed.  The next night we slept in the room with the heater!!

 Luckily the days were warmer so Ben got to take walks around the Lake in his Bjorn.

 Right in this spot about 8 years ago, we got engaged!  And now look at us...baby and everything.  Amazing how time flies!

And what a spot to get engaged, eh?

Drinking coffee on the front porch with Daddy and Duke (Duke is in the kennel, still recovering from surgery.  The cabin is too tempting of a place to run around!) 

Instead of coffee Ben gummed his rattle. 

On our way home we visited the Wills in Colorado Springs.  You might remember Avery from her blog debut.   She's a big girl now, and loves babies.  She couldn't wait to get to hold Baby Ben.  (She also nursed her dolly whenever Molly nursed Ben.  It was very cute.)

Avery's brother Landon was less interested in the baby, and more interested in his scoot bike.  I wonder if he will be more interested when Baby Will #3 comes later this year?
